GlamGlow Supercleanse | Tarte Lip gloss in Park Ave Princess | Jelly Pong Pong Highlighter | Nars Blush in Deep Throat | Rosebud Salve Tube | Last 5 Years | Younger | Teami 30 Day Detox
As crazy as it sounds, another season has come and gone. With that comes a few new favorites. I don’t have many, as I haven’t been buying a whole lot. However, each one of these comes with the promise that I’ve been using these favorites regularly. Let’s jump right in.
Glamglow Supercleanse Cleanser– As I mentioned in my full review, I can’t stand the packaging of this product, however, the product itself is outstanding. This cleanser is great for my acne prone skin and lives up to the high end GLAMGLOW name. With a price tag a lot lower than the masks ($39 rather than $69), Super Cleanse is a great way to get a tastee of the Glamglow name without completely breaking the bank. I don’t use it daily, but a few times a week (usually letting it sit on my face for a few minutes like a mask) is enough to help keep my skin in decent shape. Check out my full review for more info on this great cleanser.
Nars Blush in Deep Throat– I picked this up in Japan because Nars blushes run a few dollars cheaper there (I paid about $27 rather than the $30 it normally costs) and I broke my 3 year old Orgasm blush. Deep Throat is a slightly subtler version of the Orgasm shade. It’s perfect for every day wear, which is pretty much how often I’ve been wearing it.
Jelly Pong Pong Glow Getter– A Birchbox find that I’m loving! This is an oil-free gel highlighter that applies and blends with ease and doesn’t leave me looking too shiny. It’s the perfect luminizing glow that leaves me looking radiant. I don’t usually love on highlighters, but this little guy is a keeper. You can find this in the Birchbox shop.
Tarte Lip Gloss in Park Avenue Princess– By now it should be quite clear that I love the Tarte Lip Surgence lip glosses. This time around I have been loving the summer friendly shade Park Ave Princess. This is a nude shade with gold shimmer, which is perfect to go along with my usual bronzed look that summer’s tan brings. Like the other shades, it’s hydrating and smells delicious.
Rosebud Perfume Co. Rosebud Salve in a Tube– This hydrating salve is something I’ve seen around for quite some time, so once I found it in a tube, I had to give it a try. While it can be used for anything from dry cuticles to soothing minor burns, I love to use it as a lip balm. I’ve been putting a generous layer on right before bed, and I wake up to soft, hydrated lips.
Teami Blends 30 Day Detox– It is obvious to most of my readers and followers that I’m in love with Teami Blends. Their 30 day detox is an amazing little program that rids the body of bloat and toxins and leaves you feeling better than before you started. I have a full review that goes into all the details about Teami and what it can do for you. You can also use discount code DIVINE10 for 10% off any Teami order.
Movie Favorite: The Last 5 Years– Broadway nerd alert. The movie of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan is musical lover’s gold. The actors portray these difficult characters with such feeling that you can’t help but feel all the feelings as you embark on this 90 minute musical journey of Jaime and Cathy’s relationship. Amazing.
TV Favorite: Younger– This new tv show on TV land is a fun, light hearted show following Liza (played by Broadway diva Sutton Foster) a 40 year old divorcee covering as a 26 year old to get back into the workforce. She befriends several women in their 20’s including a character played by Hilary Duff, while living with her 40 something year old lesbian best friend. It’s hilarious, well written, and a ton of fun to watch. The first season ends next Tuesday, so check out Hulu or the show’s website to catch up.
