April 2017 Wish List

Air Fryer | Benefit Boxed Blush | Ole Henriksen Kit | Village Candle Coffee Bean | Beauty and the Beast Journal | Iconic Protein Drink

Here are a few of the awesome products that have caught my eye and made it onto my wish list for the new month.  We’ve got a little bit of everything this month.  Check it out!

Air Fryer ($150)- My biggest wishlist item of the month is an air fryer.  After seeing all of the awesome creations people are coming up with in their fryers, I’m having some severe envy about not having one of my own.  Air Fryers help you achieve the crisp cook of fried food while using little to no oil in the preparation.  This sounds like a dream come true.  I’m longing to get my hands on one of these so I can try out different veggies in there to make my own sweet potato fries, butternut squash bites, and I’m really dying to try the Green Giant cauliflower tots in there.  I was obsessed with them when I had them at my parent’s house, and I imagine tossing them in an air fryer rather than the oven will make them even more amazing. This appliance actually surpassed a new coffee maker on my wishlist. That’s just crazy talk!

Benefit Galifornia($29)- I’ve always enjoyed Benefit’s cult classic boxed blushes. Coralista has always been one of my favorites, and GALifornia looks like it might be a slightly brighter, but still completely wearable version of my all time favorite.

OleHenricksen Balance it All Essentials Kit ($34): Ole Henricksen recently redid their packaging and launched a few new products.  Among those new to the lineup is the “Balance It All” line of skincare meant for those with oily or combination skin.  Since I am a perfect candidate for this line and I couldn’t decide which product I wanted to announce was the winner of making it onto my wishlist, I was thrilled to see they have a nice little set that will allow me to try all 3 products in the line.  This set contains smaller (but still large enough to decide if it works for you) sizes of the balance it all cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.  This is definitely on my skincare wishlist the next time I need to replenish my stash.

Village Candle in Coffee Bean ($20): I’ve been looking all over for a candle that I can light in the morning to go along with my morning cup of coffee and hopefully awaken all of my senses for a productive morning, and this one seems to fit the bill.  With notes of espresso, tonka beans, and roasted pecans, this wishlist item is going to be checked off when it arrives in a few days from Amazon.  Thank goodness for Amazon Prime and that random gift card I found over the weekend!

Beauty and the Beast Journal ($20): If this makes me look like a child for wanting this, I don’t care.  Along with the release of the live-action Beauty and the Beast movie, of course, Disney created a ton of merch to go with it.  This journal is stunning. It’s a hardbound book (that looks strikingly similar to the magical book in the movie) with detailed illustrations on every lined page.  I am a huge sucker for beautiful notebooks and journals, and as a B&B fan, I feel compelled to add this to my collection.

Iconic Protein Drink ($39.99 for 12): If you follow the weight loss and fitness instagramers like I do, not only have you seen Premier Protein drinks, but you’ve probably also spotted the Iconic Protein bottles as well.  Iconic is supposed to taste fabulous, packs 20 g of protein (supposedly without that weird aftertaste that Premier Protein can leave us with), is only 2 Smart Points per bottle, and it comes in a coffee flavor. It definitely sounds like these are something I should try.
